Facundo González Molino (born 6 July 2003) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Serie B club Sampdoria, on loan from Juventus.

Club career

As a youth player, González joined the youth academy of Spanish fifth tier side Vista Alegre.[2][3] In 2019, he joined the youth academy of Valencia in the Spanish La Liga.[4][5][6][7]

On 8 August 2023, he signed a three-year deal with Juventus.[8]

On 23 August 2023, González joined Serie B side Sampdoria on loan.[9]

International career

González is a Uruguayan youth international. In September 2022, he played for Uruguay under-20 team in Torneo Cuadrangular de Maldonado.[10] He was a part of the Uruguayan side that won the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.[11][12]

In June 2023, González received his first call-up to the senior team for friendlies against Nicaragua and Cuba.[13]
