Frankfort Township is one of twelve townships in Franklin County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 7,029 and it contained 3,362 housing units.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.9 square miles (96 km2), of which 36.46 square miles (94.4 km2) (or 98.81%) is land and 0.45 square miles (1.2 km2) (or 1.22%) is water.[2]
