Fuse Media, LLC is a Latino-owned entertainment company based in New York City.

Overview

Since March 2021, Fuse Media maintains a streaming division, a combination of Fuse’s website, social media, digital video outlets, and branded free ad-supported television (FAST) channels and streaming service Fuse+.[1][2] The Fuse Media family includes Fuse, FM (Fuse Music), Fuse+, FAST Channels: Backstage, Shades of Black, Latino Vibes, El Rey Rebel, Camptastic, and OUTtv Proud; Fuse Studios, and Ignition Studios, as well as a branded content and live events business.[3]

Fuse

Fuse has a catalog of documentaries, films, and original series including “Big Freedia Means Business,”[4] “Sex Sells,”[5] and “Like A Girl.”[6]

FM

FM primarily airs music-related programming and reruns of Fuse original series. Launched on September 30, 2015, FM has a collection of specials, unscripted series, interviews, and animation exclusive to the channel.

Fuse+

In June 2021, Fuse Media launched Fuse+, a subscription video on demand (SVOD) service that offers original series, documentaries and films focused on diverse storytelling.[7][8]

FAST channels

This is a list of Fuse-branded FAST channels available on the Fuse website and third-party streaming platforms.

  • Backstage – Features documentaries focusing on musicians and entertainers. Launched on March 25, 2021.[9]
  • Camptastic – Focuses on "campy" movies and exercise videos from the 1980s and 1990s. Launched on March 25, 2021, as Fuse Sweat,[9] the channel rebranded to its current name in December 2022.[10]
  • Latino Vibes – Features English-language Hispanic programming. Launched on December 1, 2022.[11]
  • OUTtv Proud – Original and acquired LGBTQ+ programming from the Canadian-based OUTtv.[12]
  • Shades of Black – Primarily features entertainment and lifestyle programming targeted towards an African American audience. Launched on May 11, 2021, as Fuse Beat,[13] the channel was relaunched under its current name in September 2022.[14]

Studios

Fuse Studios is Fuse Media's in-house production company that creates, develops, and produces the majority of Fuse's original series.

In 2023, Fuse Media launched Ignition Studios, a separate production division that assists in concept development, production, distribution, and consulting.[15]
