Gareth Owen is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. He played at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Oldham (Heritage № 743), as a prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums.[1][2]
International honours
Gareth Owen won caps for Wales while at Oldham in 1981 against France (interchange/substitute), and England (interchange/substitute).[1]
