Garmi Angut (Persian: گرمي انگوت, also Romanized as Garmī Angūt; also known as Garmī)[3] is a village in Angut-e Sharqi Rural District of the Central District of Ungut County, Ardabil province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 504 in 100 households, when it was in the former Angut District of Germi County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 517 people in 112 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 491 people in 135 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

In September 2019, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Ungut County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Angut as its capital and only city.[7]
