Ernst Georg Altner (4 December 1901 – 12 April 1945) was a German politician.[1] He was a member of the Reichstag for the NSDAP (Nazi Party) from 1933 to 1945 and an SS-Brigadeführer. From 1942 until his death in 1945, Altner was chief of police in Dortmund.[2][3] On 12 April 1945, Altner committed suicide.
