Ghosal or Ghoshal (Bengali: ঘোষাল) is a surname found among the Bengali Brahmins, a Brahmin caste associated with the Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent.[1][2] The Ghoshals belong to the Rarhi class of Bengali Brahmins.[3]
