Grand Isle was the site of a now-abandoned factory within the Mississippi River Delta, in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, United States.
Geography
The site only 5 feet (1.5 m) above sea level, and as a result, is prone to flooding. It is located about 7 miles (11 km) east of Venice, and 68.8 miles (110.7 km) from New Orleans.[1]
