Heath J. Howard (born May 26, 2000) is an American politician. He currently serves as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives representing Strafford County District 4, encompassing Strafford and Barrington, for the Democratic Party. He assumed office on December 7, 2022.[1] Howard is currently a member of the Election Law Committee.[2][3] He belongs among the youngest state legislators in the United States.

Early life and education

Howard was born May 26, 2000, in Strafford, New Hampshire to Daniel Lee and Kathleen Howard. He has one older sister.[4] His father is a builder and building inspector for the town and his mother is an English teacher.[5] He graduated from Spaulding High School in 2018. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of New Hampshire in 2022.[6]

Politics

He won the general elections on November 8, 2022, and assumed office in the New Hampshire House of Representatives on December 7, 2022. He is a member of the Election Law Committee.[7]
