Hiv (Persian: هيو, also Romanized as Heave)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Hiv Rural District[4] of the Central District of Savojbolagh County, Alborz province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, the population of the village was 8,061 in 2,247 households, when it was in Tehran province.[5] At the 2016 census, its population was 8,697 in 2,838 households, by which time the county had separated from the province and become a part of recently established Alborz province.[6] It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
