Indu Menon (b. 13 June 1980 ) is an Indian novelist and short story writer. In 2014, he received the Central Sahitya Award for Young Writers. In 2015, India Today selected her as one of India's Upcoming Writers. In 2005, India Today selected her as one of the twenty young talents of Kerala. Some of Indu Menon's stories have been made into films. In 2009, Father and Virgin was screened at the Cannes International Film Festival in France. In 2010, the short film You Can't Step Twice in the Sime River was screened at the River to River Festival in Italy and won an award. In 2011, the film Mrigam premiered at the Marché du Film Film Market in conjunction with the Cannes International Film Festival.[1]

Early life

Indu married Malayalam film director and poet Rupesh Paul. Rupesh and Indu have a daughter Gowri Maria and a son Adithya.[2]
