International Sunni Ijtema also known as Sunni Daawat-e-Islami Ijtema is an annual Congregation or Ijtema organised by Sunni Daawat-e-Islami at the Wadi-e-Noor in Azad Maidan, Mumbai, Maharashtra for 2 days.[1][2][3][4][5] It is captured that lacs of people attend the congregation.[6][7][8] The first day of the congregation is Reserved for women[9] and second for men.[10][11][12] It had started its conference in 1991 and continued still.[13] The Ijtema end with a mass prayer of lacs of people headed by Shakir Ali Noori.[14] A Congregation held at Nagpur on the 100th Urs of Muhammad Tajuddin where lacs of people attended.[15]

The crowd are in lacs of women for the first day. Every women around Maharashtra joins the Congregation.[16][17]

Fatwas

  • The men should not wear tight dresses. No ponytail or tattoos are legitimate in Islam. Men should not wear jeans below the waist.[18]
  • The waxing and designing of eyebrows are not permissible for women in Islam. If a woman wants to get out of her marriage, she can consult Shariah court or Civil court too.[19]
  • The Muslim should be on the Path of Prophet and his Sahabas. We should follow the Auliya and Waliullah too for a better version of Islam in today's time.[20]
  • The Muslims should not join the congregation of Tabligi Jamat.
  • The Instant Triple Talaq is sinful and against the traditions of Islam and against sayings of Prophet Muhammad.[21]
  • In the Ijtema of women, the topics are Women and Islam, Talaq, Education and Shariah.[22]
  • The women must cover their faces and head according to Islam.[23]
