Ismail Shafeeu (born 1956)[1] is a Maldivian politician, who is the incumbent minister of Ministry of Education.[2][3][4][5] He is a former Minister of Tourism.[6] He was board member of the Maldives Monetary Authority from 1990 to 2005.[7]
Education
He obtained an economics degree in Macquarie University, Australia. He was a Hubert Humphrey scholar and undertook a year-long program of study in Boston University. He also took a course in regional development at the UN Centre for Regional Development in Japan.[1]
Family life
He is married and has 2 children.[1]
