Jhansi Rani is a 1988 Telugu-language thriller film, produced by Midde Rama Rao under the Sri Rajyalakshmi Art Pictures banner and directed by Satyanand. It stars Rajendra Prasad, Bhanupriya and music composed by Chakravarthy.[2] The film is based on Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy's novel Mr. V.[3]
Plot
Jhansi Rani is dynamic and encounters offenses in society that endear an Advocate Dinakar. Once, Jhansi got attacked by goons and is rescued by a medical representative Sriraj, who befriends him. Jhansi's sister Sampoorna a handicapped wedlock Viswanath, dies the next day of espouse. Due to inaccessibility, Jhansi is unable to attend the marriage and unbeknownst to the bridegroom. After a while, Neelakantham a CBCID officer approaches Jhansi, narrating the case of Mr.V a spiteful who keeps enormous names with V and hoodwinks the girls with nuptials and absconds, forging his death. Startlingly, he reveals one that spliced Sampoorna is the same. Knowing it, Sampoorna commits suicide. Now Jhansi pledges to seize Mr.V under any circumstances with the aid of Sriraj as he is one of the victims. The rest of the story is about who is Mr.V and how is he snared.
