Jody Deshawn Owens (born September 12, 1990) is an American college football coach. He is the interim head football coach and defensive coordinator for St. Augustine's University, positions he has held since 2023.[1] He also coached for Community High School, L. D. Bell High School, Montana State,[2] Nevada, Washington, Briar Cliff,[3] Pittsburg State,[4][5] and the Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL).[6][7] He played college football for Montana State as a linebacker.[8]
