Kalaleh (Persian: كلاله, also Romanized as Kalāleh and Kalālah)[3] is a city in the Central District of Kalaleh County, Golestan province, Iran, serving as both capital of the district and of the county.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 27,661 in 6,446 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 27,951 people in 7,306 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 36,176 people in 10,346 households.[2]
