Kanyam (Nepali: कन्याम) is a town and a tourist destination located in Ilam District of Nepal. It comes under Suryodaya Municipality in Ilam District in Koshi Province of eastern Nepal. It is situated at coordinates 27.1536° N and 87.9336°W.
Kanyam is known for its green tea garden and picnic spots.[1] It is known as "queen of the eastern Nepal" due to its natural environment.[2] Every year thousands of tourists visit here because of its climate and greenery.[3] People also come here for honeymoon and it is one of the top destinations for couples.[4]Shree Antu is a popular tourist destination best known as the place to observe sunrise and is known for its tea gardens.[5]

The well-kept tea garden offers a beautiful view of the verdant green tea plants. The tea garden is best visited early in the day or late in the day when the sun is not too intense.
