The whole police unit is under much pressure to find the fruit before it ripens. The chief suspect is the gardener of the house who was recently fired, but when Inspector Basor finds the gardener, it is discovered that his daughter has been missing for days while the police are ignoring all other cases to look for the fruit. Basor tries to find the gardener's daughter by tricking people into thinking that the daughter stole the jackfruit. The case continues where more and more confusion is created. Inspector Basor also in troubled by a reported, who is later arrested. This entire commotion leads to Basor believing that the politician is the one who has eaten the jackfruit and forgot all about it. Later, it was discovered on a wall by a local, but when Inspector Basor went there, there were only seeds. So the politician is enraged and threatens to fire Basor out when one day, the other jackfruit is found in the hands of a couple of monkeys. Before anyone could do anything, they ate away the last jackfruit before making their escape. The politician forgives Basor and she in turn releases the reporter.
