Khalilabad (Persian: خليل اباد, also Romanized as Khalīlābād; also known as Khālehābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Fuladlui-ye Shomali Rural District of Hir District, Ardabil County, Ardabil province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,955 in 396 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,972 people in 528 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,877 people in 492 households.[2]
