Kovčín is a municipality and village in Klatovy District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 90 inhabitants.
Kovčín lies approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of Klatovy, 41 km (25 mi) south-east of Plzeň, and 95 km (59 mi) south-west of Prague.
History
The first written mention of Kovčín is from 1551, when it was part of the Zelená Hora estate.[2]
