Kozina (pronounced [kɔˈziːna] ; Italian: Cosina) is a settlement in the Municipality of Hrpelje-Kozina in the Littoral region of Slovenia, close to the border with Italy.[2]

The village developed only after the railway was established; in 1825 there were only three houses in Kozina. It became an important center for teamsters, with twelve inns with stalls for teamsters' horses.[3] Today it lies at the intersection of the A1 motorway (LjubljanaKoper) with Route 7 (TriesteRijeka).
