Kuhdasht (Kurdish: Kwêyeşt, کوێیەشت Persian: كوهدشت, also Romanized as Kūhdasht and Kūh-ī-Dasht)[3] is a city in the Central District of Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran, serving as both capital of the district and of the county. The people of the city speak Laki Kurdish and are Shia Muslim.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 85,519 in 58,087 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 92,927 people in 22,819 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 89,091 people in 24,347 households.[2]
