Layton Greene (born December 4, 1998) is an American singer-songwritter from East St. Louis, Illinois.[2] She is best known for her 2019 single "Leave Em Alone" (with Lil Baby featuring PnB Rock and City Girls), which peaked at number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, the song peaked on the US Rhythmic chart and received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Prior to that, in January of that year, Greene signed with the Georgia-based record label Quality Control Music as its first female R&B artist.[3] Her debut extended play (EP), Tell Ya Story, was released on September 9, 2019.[4]
Early life
Greene was born in East St.Louis, Illinois.[5] She was raised by her biological mother and her step father, who eventually separated when she was 14. Greene began singing at seven years old, reciting Keyshia Cole's "Love" to her mother.[6]

Greene is in a relationship with music producer GStylesOnTheTrack, who worked with her on “Open Wounds.”[7]
Artistry
Greene names Keyshia Cole, Aaliyah, and Chris Brown as her musical influences.[8]
