Leslie Leinwand is an American biologist and serial entrepreneur who works on the genetics and molecular physiology of inherited diseases of the heart, and on how gender and diet modify the heart. She is currently a Distinguished Professor of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, and the Chief Scientific Officer of the BioFrontiers Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder.[1][2]

Education

Leinwand completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, her doctoral studies at Yale University, and her postdoctoral training at Rockefeller University, all in molecular biology.

Career
