Lia Apostolovski (born 23 June 2000) is a Slovenian track and field athlete. She is a multiple time national champion in the high jump.[1]
Personal life
Her father is a former high jumper and former Slovenian record holder Sašo Apostolovski. She is coached by the Slovenian high jump record holder Rožle Prezelj.[2]
Career
She won the bronze medal at the 2021 European Athletics U23 Championships in Tallinn.[3]
Competing at the 2022 European Athletics Championships, in Munich, she reached the final and reached seventh place.[4]
In August 2023, she set a new personal best to clear 1.95m in Heilbronn, Germany. She reached the final at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest in August 2023, and finished in ninth place.[5]
She competed at the 2023 Diamond League event in Xiamen, China in September 2023, and finished second in the high jump with a 1.92m clearance.[6]
