Liam Davies (born 31 March 1996) is an English professional boxer. He has held the British and European super bantamweight titles since 2022.

Amateur career

As an amateur, Davies won silver medals at the 2016 and 2018 ABAE National Championships, he also won on the Semi-finals of the 2017 Haringey Box Cup.

Professional career

Liam Davies made his Professional debut against Georgian boxing veteran, Khvicha Gigolashvili, whom he defeated, in December 2018 at Holiday Inn, Birmingham. Davies is also signed to Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions.

Liam Davies won his first title as he defeated Sean Cairns via Corner retirement for the vacant BBBofC bantamweight strap.[1] A year after, Davis won the WBC International Silver super bantamweight title against Dixon Flores.[2]

In June 2022, Davies defeated Marc Leach for the BBBofC super bantamweight title. Davies continued to grab more titles as he won the WBC International and the vacant EBU super bantamweight titles against Romanian boxer, Ionut Baluta[3] and defended all 3 of his titles against English boxer, Jason Cunningham, Cunningham's WBO International title was also at stake, the match was set at Telford, Davies' hometown,[4] at the match, Davies successfully made his hometown fans satisfied as he defeated Cunningham in the 1st round.[5] [6]
