Local Pensions Partnership Administration is a pensions administration business, part of the LPP Group, which serves 660,000 members from more than 1,900 different employers.[3]

Local Pensions Partnership Investments[2] (LPPI), also part of the LPP Group, was established to enable public sector pension schemes to pool resources and improve management of their assets for the benefit of their members and employers. It is open to all members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and public sector funds in the UK.

LPPI provides client LGPS funds with a whole scheme management approach with £24.2bn of assets under management at 30 September 2023.

Local Pensions Partnership Investments (LPPI) is regulated and authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 724653) and manages the investment assets on behalf of three pension funds: Lancashire County Pension Fund, the London Pensions Fund Authority and the Royal County of Berkshire Pension Fund. LPPI is one of eight LGPS investment pools.

LPPI is also the Alternative Investment Fund Manager for GLIL Infrastructure LLP, a collaboration with other LGPS investment pools and funds, and the Investment Manager for The London Fund, a partnership with another pool, London LGPS CIV.

LPPI is a signatory to the Financial Reporting Council's UK Stewardship Code and the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), and subscribes to frameworks set by The Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change, the Financial Stability Board's Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures, and Climate Action 100+.
