Maharashtra State Haj Committee is a statutory body under the Ministry of Minorities and Aukaf in the Government of Maharashtra.[1][2][3] It was established under the Haj committee act, 2002. The committee runs four Haj house s, Haj House Mumbai, Haj House Pune and Haj House Aurangabad and Haj House Nagpur.[4] It is headed by Haji Asif as the chairman.[5][6][7] In 2014 it was announced that the Haj Committee will be opened in every district of the State.[8][9]
