Makvan Rural District (Persian: دهستان ماكوان) is in Bayangan District of Paveh County, Kermanshah province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Dudan.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,327 in 570 households.[3] There were 2,255 inhabitants in 615 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,149 in 633 households. The largest of its 33 villages was Zardui, with 743 people.[2]
