Malachi Thomas (born June 9, 2003) is an American football running back for the Virginia Tech Hokies.
High School career
Thomas attended Hart County High School in Hartwell, Georgia playing both football and baseball. In July 2020 Thomas committed to play football for the Virginia Tech Hokies.[1]
College career
As a true freshman in 2021, Thomas played in 10 games scoring 3 touchdowns.
Going into his sophomore season in 2022 he scored one touchdown playing in three games. Thomas suffered a knee injury while playing against North Carolina State on October 27, 2022. He was reported as finally healing up from it on May 12, 2023.[2]
Still listed as a sophomore, going into 2023 he so far has played in seven games, accumulating 193 rushing yards. [3]
