Michael Medrano is an American singer and songwriter,[1] based in Los Angeles.[2] Having written songs for pop acts like AJ Mitchell ("STOP"), his debut album is expected in 2023.[2]

Personal life

Medrano identifies as bisexual.[3] Speaking to Billboard Magazine, Medrano said, “Sexuality isn’t black and white, it’s a colorful spectrum with a lot of in-betweens that we should be okay with exploring."[4]

His father is from Spain and is of Catalan ancestry and his mother is from Los Angeles and has Irish and Scottish ancestry. He grew up in a household where holidays or birthdays were not celebrated.[5]
