Mohamed Amin Jhinaoui (born 2 April 1997) is a Tunisian runner who specializes in the 3000 metres steeplechase.[1]
Career
A member of the Athletic Club 96, in Bolzano, Italy he ran a new personal best time for the 3000m steeplechase of 8:18.43 in Rovereto in May 2022.[2] He lowered his personal best to 8:16.38 at the Diamond League event in Rome in June 2022.[3] He was selected for the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.[4]
In July 2023, he ran a new personal best time of 8:12.19 at the Diamond League event in Paris.[5] He competed in the 3000 metres steeplechase at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest in August 2023, where he qualified for the final, in which he finished thirteenth.[6]
