Mohan Lal Brakta is the current MLA for the Rohru constituency in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Chief Parliamentary Secretary and a prominent Koli leader by caste.[4] He was elected at the December 2022 Legislative Assembly election.[5][6]

Mohan Lal Brakta, born on 19th June 1965 in Rohru, Distt. Shimla, is an accomplished individual known for his legal expertise and political contributions. He is the son of Late Shri Teju Ram.
Mohan Lal Brakta is married to Smt. Ranjna Brakta, and the couple has been blessed with one son and one daughter.
He holds a degree in L.L.B. and is recognized as an Advocate.
