Murexia is a genus of mice-sized dasyure, in the marsupial order Dasyuromorphia.[1] They are found in Papua, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
Species
The genus was previously considered a monotypic genus,[1] but now multiple species are recognised.[2][3]
- short-furred dasyure (Murexia longicaudata)[4]
- long-nosed dasyure (Murexia naso)[5]
- black-tailed dasyure (Murexia melanurus)[6]
- Habbema dasyure (Murexia habbema)[7]
- broad-striped dasyure (Murexia rothschildi)[8]
