History and profile

It has a popular science approach to the natural sciences, including medicine.[2]

Naturen was edited by its founder, Hans Reusch, for the first four years.[1] Among its former editors are Jens Holmboe (1906–1925),[3] Torbjørn Gaarder (1925–1946)[4] and Knut Fægri (1947–1977),[5] and Per Magnus Jørgensen (1991–1997).[6]
