Naxeex (also known as Naxeex LTD) is a video game publisher founded by Yury Popovich in 2014 and currently stationed in Limassol, Cyprus.[1] The publisher is known for their sandbox superhero games developed and released through mobile.

History

Russian entrepreneur and businessman Yury Popovich first established Naxeex in 2014.[2] In 2020, the company underwent a relocation process and moved its operations to Cyprus. Naxeex primarily develops mobile games for Android and iOS. These games are released for free though Naxeex earns profit through advertising and in-app purchases.[1] The company, stated that they use Google AdMob for ad network and monetization.[2] Some of their initial games include Rope Hero: Vice Town, Real Gangster Crime, Vegas Crime Simulator, and Stickman series.

Naxeex Headquarters was originally stationed in Novosibirsk, Russia,[3] but was later moved to Limassol, Cyprus. The company took many inspirations in developing their games, mostly from other triple-A open-world GTA-like games.

In total, Naxeex has developed over 100 video games.[2]

Reception

Currently, their games have more than one billion installs and tens of millions of daily active users.[2] In Google Rankings, Naxeex action and rpg games appeared in the Top 100 in more than 10 countries.[4] Over the years, several of Naxeex superhero games received critical acclaim, with some being touted as the best in mobile gaming and in the open-world superhero genre.[5]

Rope Hero: Vice Town is their most downloaded app, being in the Top 10 of the Action Category in Google Play for years.[2][6] Amar Roy of Gaming.net listed Rope Hero: Vice Town at #2 in his list of “5 Best Superhero Games on Mobile”, stating, “It's not your typical game – it offers a one-of-a-kind superhero adventure that's different from the rest” while also adding, “[it] allows you to do whatever you want and there are lots of different things to do in the open world.”[5]
