Neo Shifters is a line of buildable robot action figures distributed by Mega Brands in 2005. The line released for three years until it was discontinued and replaced by Neo Machines in 2008.[2]
Overview
Lore
A millennia ago, satellites from Hydraxx-Tor crashed on the planet Skandar, a cybernetic virus mutates with fuel from the satellite wreckage called Hydrax, spawning a sentient intelligence; Neozomes. The Neozomes created transforming mechs called Shifters, and are powered by the same Hydrax fuel. Civilization quickly flourished as citys are built. When water begins to run out on Skandar a group of Neoshifters led by Magna::Rex take to the stars to find more resources. The explorers discover the planet of Hyrdaxx-Tor and scavenge the planet for water until Terra<>Sfear becomes infected with a Hydrax induced diesease leading him to form a mutiny against Magna::Rex. Terra<>Sfear and his faction of Templars begin to conquer the Hydraxxian civilization and slowly deplete the planet of its water, its now up to Alpha::Rex and the Paladins to stop the Templars conquest.[3]
