Nikolai Chadaev is a Russian chess grandmaster born in 1988. He achieved the Grandmaster title in 2010 and reached a peak FIDE rating of 2591 in 2012.[1]

Career

Chadaev showed promise from a young age, placing 2nd in the Russian U20 Championship in 1998 at just 10 years old. He earned the International Master title in 2006. His victory at the 2005 Serpukhov GM tournament allowed Chadaev to secure the grandmaster title in 2010.[2]

Some of his major accomplishments include winning the Moscow Chess Championship in 2010 and 2011, as well as tying for 10th place at the 2012 World Blitz Championship alongside Boris Gelfand.[3]

In addition to his two Moscow Championship victories in 2010 and 2011, Chadaev has posted several strong results in other over-the-board events. He tied for 1st at the 2007 Balashikha Open and tied for 2nd at the 2008 Moscow Open.[4]
