Nukjub (Persian: نوكجوب, also Romanized as Nūkjūb; also known as Nokjū, Nook Joo, Nowk Janūb, and Nūkchū)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Bampur-e Sharqi Rural District[4] of the Central District of Bampur County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,043 in 434 households, when it was in the former Bampur District of Iranshahr County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,472 people in 603 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,561 people in 679 households.[2]
