Oliver Steadman

Oliver "Oli" Steadman is a British-South African multi-instrumentalist.

Steadman is a founding member of Stornoway.[1]

Other Projects

Steadman has worked as a studio producer for artists including Nick Cope,[2][3] and as composer / musical theatre director,[4][5] while managing & mentoring local musicians including Willie J Healey,[6] The People Versus,[7] and Balloon Ascents / NEVERLND.[8]

In 2013 Steadman founded Count Drachma,[9][10] who were invited to play at festivals from WOMAD to WOOD to Festival N°6, co-headlining London's Southbank Centre with the Mahotella Queens,[11] and filming a documentary with The Guardian's Education channel.[12]

In 2014 Steadman founded music-tech startup Tigmus,[13] with Stornoway's touring trumpet player Thomas Hodgson.[14]

Since 2015 Steadman has been endorsed by Aria Bass Guitars.[15][16]
