Peridinium willei is a species of Dinoflagellata in the family Peridiniaceae.[1]

It has been called perennial.[2]

It is found in the United States,[3]:784 Sweden, Norway, Brazil, and the Netherlands.[1]

P. willei lives in fresh water[4] with one study saying it less likely occurs in lakes above 12 degrees or below 4 degrees.[2]
