Prastuti Porasor is an actress from Assam, India. She has acted in a number of Assamese movies and stage dramas.[1]
Early life and education
Prastuti Porasor was born at Malow Ali in Jorhat, Assam. Her father Bijoy Chandra Sarma was the former principal of Jagannath Barooah College.[2]
Career
She started acting career aged around 5 years through a serial named Barnali in Doordarshan Guwahati.[3] Her debut Assamese film was Bani Das's Maharathi, which was released in 1999.[4] She is also associated with many mobile theatres of Assam. She is a crowd puller for her critically acclaimed performances in those mobile theatres.[1]
