Procholito (Bengali: প্রচলিত) is a 2023 Bangladeshi horror anthology streaming television series directed by Md. Abid Mallick. Procholito brings together a stellar team, with Redoan Rony at the helm as the producer, Md. Assaduzzaman Sokal serving as the Executive Producer, and Shantonu Shaan as the Chief Assistant Director. This collaboration promises to immerse viewers in a world of suspense, horror, and supernatural intrigue, making Procholito a must-watch for fans of the genre.[1] The series consists of 5 episodes. The first episode Ringtone premiered on 19 October 2023, and the last episode of the series Haatbodol premiered on 16 November 2023 on Chorki. This is the 4th anthology series released on the OTT platform.

Premise

The stories of Procholito are sometimes heard from people's mouths while walking, sometimes read, some are growing up from childhood, this is how they are embedded in thoughts. The reflection of wrapping those ideas in the cloak of contemporaneity is Procholito.

Production

The series was shot in July–August 2023 in different locations of Dhaka, Manikganj and Savar. The cinematography of the series was done by Raju Raj. Music and Background Score by Khayam Sanu Sandhi. Editing done by Shobuj Sheikh. Color grading was done by Ashraful Alom and sound design by Ripon Nath. Produced under the banner of "Digital Shadow," the series bears the mark of Md. Assaduzzaman Sokal as its executive producer, with Shantonu Shaan serving as the chief assistant director, contributing to the series' production excellence.[3] [4]

Release

Chorki released the trailer of Procholito on YouTube on 13 October 2023.[5] The series premiered on 19 October 2023, with an episode release. One episode was released every Thursday and consisted of 5 episodes. The last episode aired on 16 November 2023.
