Qaleh-ye Aqa Hasan (Persian: قلعه اقاحسن, also Romanized as Qal‘eh-ye Āqā Ḩasān, Qal‘eh Āqa Ḩasan, and Qal’eh-e-Āqā Hasan; also known as Āqā Ḩasan)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Saq Rural District[4] of Soleyman District, Zaveh County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,183 in 748 households, when it was in Soleyman Rural District of the former Jolgeh Zaveh District of Torbat-e Heydarieh County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,261 people in 916 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Zaveh County.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,499 people in 1,064 households.[2]
