Qallin (Arabic: قلين) is a city in the Kafr El Sheikh Governorate, Egypt.[2]
The name of the city comes from Coptic: ⲕⲁⲗⲗⲓⲛ, which is probably a corruption of a personal name Kalleinos (Ancient Greek: Καλλινος).[3]
