Qareh Chay (Persian: قره چاي, also Romanized as Qareh Chāy and Qarah Chāy; also known as Ostūj and Qal‘eh-ye Kordhā)[3] is a village in Qareh Chay Rural District of the Central District of Saveh County, Markazi province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 854 in 170 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 772 people in 195 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 745 people in 204 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
