The Ringwood Raceway (formerly known as Matcham Park Stadium) was a raceway in Ringwood, Hampshire, England.

History

For many years the raceway was used for banger racing, until its closure in 2022.[1] The site had been in use since the 1950s.[2] In 2021, a fireworks display at the raceway on Bonfire Night caused a truck fire to send projectiles into a crowd. No injuries were reported.[3]

Future

Matcham's Park at the northern edge of the raceway.

Future development of the site is pending council approval.[4] A retirement community is planned to be built.[5] Consultation for redevelopment began in October 2021.[6]
