Ripon Mondol (born 21 March 2003) is a Bangladeshi cricketer, who is right arm medium bowler.[1] He plays for Dhaka Division cricket team in domestic cricket. He made his international debut for Bangladesh cricket team in 2023.[2]

Early career

In December 2021, he was named in Bangladesh's squad for the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.[3] He took 14 wickets in that tournament,[4] and was named in the ICC's Most Valuable Team of the Tournament.[5]

Domestic career

He made his List A debut on 15 March 2022, for Shinepukur Cricket Club in the 2021–22 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.[6] He was named as the player of the match in the match against Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club on 2 April 2022.[7] He made his first-class debut on 10 October 2022, for Dhaka Division in the 2022–23 National Cricket League.[8]

In November 2022, he was selected to play for Rangpur Riders following the players' draft in the 2022–23 Bangladesh Premier League.[9] He made his Twenty20 debut on 8 February 2023, for Rangpur Riders in that tournament.[10]

International career

In September 2023, he was selected to play for Bangladesh in the 2023 Asian Games.[11] He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Bangladesh on 4 October 2023, against Malaysia.[12]
