Sid Bennett is a film and television director, producer and writer.

Career

Sid Bennet has directed several television programs, including the third and fourth episodes of Prehistoric Park (2006), as well as Predator X (2009), I Shouldn't Be Alive (2005–2012), and Mermaids: The Body Found (2012).[1]

Bennet made his feature film directorial debut with The Dinosaur Project (2012), a found footage science fiction film. In a review of the film Time Out praised his work’as follows: ’Director Sid Bennett is a CGI whizz and does a better job animating his dinosaurs (there are some terrific killer bat-like critters) than his actors. Irritatingly, though, it’s shot as ‘found-footage’ – like ‘Cloverfield’ – complete with nodding-dog camerawork.’[2] while Starbust explained that ’’Director Sid Bennett has a background in documentaries and TV movies featuring fantastical creatures of which this film is full of.”[3]
