19°11′49″S 40°05′52″W / 19.19694°S 40.09778°W / -19.19694; -40.09778 Sooretama is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo. Its population was 30,680 (2020) and its area is 587 km2 (227 sq mi).[1]

The municipality contains part of the 27,858 hectares (68,840 acres) Sooretama Biological Reserve, a strictly protected conservation unit created in 1982 when two earlier units were merged.[2][3]
